Q1.6 EVOLUTION
As an IT startup, we operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing world. Here, we'll share news and updates as Q1.6 continues to evolve.
It's important to our team to share as much as possible to help you decide what's best for your patients. If you have any questions about our articles, please get in touch.
Q1.6 = LEAN AND MEAN
Explore Q1.6's impact on patient engagement, data gathering and care quality.
“Q1.6 is the leanest possible way to provide evidence data in RWE.”

EPRO CONSULTANCY AND SOFTWARE LICENCES: ONE OF THEM NEEDS TO BE REDUCED
Q1.6 is convinced that the worlds of ePro and sensor technology are merging. In parallel, further automation in clinical trial deployment is crucial to reducing costs.
Q1.6 is testing the next version of its Rule Based Engine to combine these two worlds, combining a self-service track with automated data transfer (raw and aggregated) into the CDMS systems used in trials.
Version 3.5 is planned for release in summer 2021.
Q1.6 TAKES 2ND PLACE IN MEDTRONIC'S WE STAND CLOSE 2020
Dr Patrick Vriens, vascular surgeon at ETZ Tilburg, was awarded 2nd place in a recent Medtronic contest for his research in collaboration with Q1.6. Congratulations to Patrick and his team, which received Medtronic funding to continue its work!
We'll keep you updated on the outcome of the study.
ISO CERTIFICATE AND QMS
Following 4 consecutive annual audits, Q1.6 has been granted the ISO27001 certificate. Our Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to ISO13485.
QR CODE ON STUDY SAMPLES
Teams needed to be certain that their samples collected via the patients were send back on time.
Normally it was an extensive effort to contact patients, remind them to send their sample, and then hope it would arrive on time.
By including the QR code in the Q1.6 platform to remind the patients to act, the study team was able to get a 95% return rate in time.
